Advanced Alchemy Guide



The low-level alchemy spell requires 21 magic, whereas high-level alchemy requires 55 magic. This guide will discuss high-level alchemy using a fire or lava staff.



The above image pretty much explains itself. You'll want to keep MouseKeys ON.

For those who don't know how MouseKeys work, the number keys at the right side of the keyboard can operate mouse movements, depending on whether the Num Lock is on or not. Pressing 5 will imitate a left mouse click.

Here's where to position your items to alch:



Put them in the 4th column, in the 4th row. I like to place my nature runes in the position shown, but you can put them anywhere you like. You must put your cursor where it is in the picture.

When you cast the spell, money will appear in your inventory where the first free space is. One nature rune and the alched item will be lost. Here is a list of common alching places:

• Banks- some alchers like to keep an eye out for good merchanting opportunities
• Near skilling areas, e.g. trees or fishing spots. Nice people to talk to.
• Completely deserted and peaceful spots.
• Barrows crypts- free items if a barrower dies. Please do NOT use tele-other spells on people.
• APE ATOLL!
