The Knight's Sword



Quest Difficulty : Intermediate
Quest Length : Medium

Description : Sir Vyvin's squire is in trouble. He has accidentally lost Sir Vyvin's ceremonial sword.

Help him find a replacement without Sir Vyvin finding out.

Requirements : Level 10 Mining
Must not be afraid of lvl 57 ice warriors

Items Required :
Red Berry Pie,
Blurite Ore,
Two Iron Bars.

Reward :
12725 Smithing,
Faladian Sword, if a copy is made on the quest,
1 QP.


Start Point : White Knights' Castle, Falador.

Quest Guide:

Option 1

1.) Talk to Sir Vyvin's squire outside of the castle buildings of the White Knights Castle and he should tell you he lost a special sword.



2.) Go and then speak to Reldo located in Varrock library on the ground floor of Varrock Palace. When you finish talking to him, he should tell you where the last Incamdo Dwarf in RuneScape is. Note: Make sure you don't ask if Reldo has a quest for you, otherwise you will start the Shield of Arrav and you wont be able to ask about The Knight’s Sword for a period of time.



3.) Now set of to Port Sarim and when you arrive there, head southwest to a hut where someone named Thurgo lives. If you go and get him a Red Berry Pie, he’ll start talking and helping you. This is what you'll need to do in order to talk to him. Thurgo will need a picture to make a perfect copy of the sword so you'll need to go back to the White Knights Castle.



4.) Go and talk to the squire of Sir Vyvin and ask him where you could find a picture of the sword. Enter the castle through the eastern side and then go to the second floor of the building. You should now be in an area neard Sir Vyvin's bedroom. Go inside his room and when he exits the room, search his cupboard and you should get the picture of the Knights Sword.

5.) Now go back to Thurgo with a pickaxe, your 2 iron bars and your picture and he should send you to get Blurite ore. Once you're inside, go far in the tunnel to a place where you will see ice warriors and giants and blurite ore. Mine it and run out of there as fast as possible.



6.) Now once you're out, meet back with Thurgo with your two iron bars and blurite ore. Talk to him and he should then make you a Blurite Sword.

7.) Take the Blurite Sword to the squire and then you will get your reward.

Congratulations! You will have now completed the quest.

Option 2

You can also get yourself a Blurite Sword during this quest if you wish using this second option of completing the quest.

1.) First of all, go and start the quest as shown in the first option of completing the quest until you are told to get the materials by Thurgo.

2.) Now you'll need to get 2 blurite ore and 4 iron bars instead of the normal amount.

3.) Now speak to Thurgo to get the first sword and do not speak to him a second time at the moment.

4.) Once you revieve your first sword, drop it quickly and quickly ask for another one.

5.) Now pick up the sword you dropped on the sword before it disapeers. When you at Sir Vyvins squire, drop one of your Blurite Swords again and give the one you have to the Squire.

6.) Pick up the other Blurite Sword from the floor and enjoy using it!
