Ability to kill a lvl 101 tree spirit with no weapons and armour
17 Magic would also help

Items Needed: Axe (any sort), Knife, 20-30 Chaos runes and 40-60 Air runes may help

Reward: Access to Zanaris, ability to buy and wield dragon longswords and daggers, 3 quest points


1. To start this quest, talk to the adventurers in Lumbridge Swamp. Talk to the warrior until he lets slip that they are looking for the lost city of Zanaris. Continue talking until he reveals they are looking for a leprechaun to tell them the location of the city.



2. Look around the trees nearby until you see a tree with the option 'Chop tree' rather than 'Chop down tree'.



3. Use your axe to chop at this tree, and a leprechaun will jump out and start to run away. Catch him and he will tell you that the city is hidden in the shed in the swamp, but to enter it you must be holding a staff cut from the branch of a Dramen tree. He will also tell you that the only surviving Dramen tree is in a cavern underneath the island of Entrana.



4. Take the runes needed to cast a spell, Wind Bolt should do. You need to take enough runes to cast Wind Bolt 20-30 times. Once you have these, dispose of any weapons or armour that you may be carrying, as the monk will not allow them to be taken onto Entrana.

5. Walk to Port Sarim and talk to one of the Monks of Entrana. After a quick search, they will let you onboard their ship, and take you to the island. Walk around the island, across the bridge, to the dungeon entrance where you will see a 'cave monk'.

6. Climb down the entrance to the cave, be careful though, as you are not able to climb back up again. Once down, walk into the small corridor and kill the lv 25 zombies until you get a bronze axe (save your runes for later). Once you have one run past the Greater Demons and into the cave with the Dramen tree.



7. Try to chop down the tree and a lvl 101 tree spirit will appear.



8. Run behind the mushrooms shown below and start maging the spirit. When it is dead you can run out and chop some branches off the tree.



9. Use your knife to carve the branches into staffs. Use the Lumbridge Homeport teleport spell and go to the shed in the swamp. Wield the staff, and walk through the door...
