A Soul's Bane

Description : A rift in the ground has opened up, releasing all manner of strange monsters into the lands near the Dig Site. A sorrowful mother waits at the top of the rift for her long-lost son, who has been missing for 25 years. You can journey down into the rift for an adventure full of twisted monsters, all created from the mind of a young boy driven to madness through incarceration.
Beware: This is a combat-heavy quest, so prepare before you venture down.

Requirements :
Good knowledge of combat would be helpful.

Items Required :
Rope.
Antipoison, Food, Armour, and a Weapon is recommended

Start Point : Rift entrance, north-west of the Dig Site

Quest Guide:

1) To start the quest, agree to search for Launa’s husband and son when you speak to her.

2) Climb down the rift near her by using your rope on it. Then you should be in a Rage Room. Now go to the rack and take a weapon from it and then wield it. You are able to change weapons at any time.



3) You will need to get your rage level up. To do this, use the correct weapon to attack a certain type of monster.

4) You should now see a mini clip about how Tolna left Launa once your rage level is high enough. Exit the room and go into the Fear Room once the mini clip is over.

5) Search the holes in this room now until you find level 42 Fear Reapers which have 26 hit points appearing. Keep on killing these monsters until you’re not afraid.



6) A black hole will light up when you’ve killed enough Fear Reapers and when you’ve unlocked another mini clip. Go into this hole and now you should find yourself in the Confused Room.

7) There are monsters in this room that can poison you which are level 43 called Confusion Beast’s and have 28 hit points. Only one of these creatures are real and the others are your imagination. Start attacking them until you find one which you can do damage to. The other monsters in the area will be immune to your attacks until the 8’Th time you hit them and then they’ll disappear. A door will disappear once you’ve killed the real monster. Keep killing them until there is only one door left.





8) Now once you’ve gone through the door, you should end up in a room called the Hopeless Room. In this room, start killing all of the level 40 Hopeless creatures which have 21 hit points. They must be defeated 3 times for each one of them so that they can die properly. Once you’ve done this, a Hope Bridge should appear. You will need to cross over this bridge to the exit.



9) Now you should see another mini clip. Now start preparing to defeat Tolna. You’ll have to start killing each of his level 46 heads which have 37 hit points. These heads are able to poison you. Tolna should then become human again once you’ve killed all three of his heads.



10) Start talking to Tolna now and you should appear on top of the surface. Now that you’re out of there, talk to Tolna again and you should complete this quest.
