Elemental Workshop I



Quest Difficulty : Novice
Quest Length : Short

Description : Hundreds of years ago, a mineral was found that had the ability to change the property of Magic.

The magicians, fearing the effect this may have on their profession, sealed this Workshop forever; or so they had hoped. See if you can rediscover the lost knowledge of elemental ore.

Requirements :
Level 20 Crafting
Level 20 Mining
Level 20 Smithing

Items Required : Knife, Pickaxe, Leather, Thread, Needle, 4 Coal and a hamer.

Reward : 1 Quest Point, Element Shield (+6 Magic in Defence bonus), 5,000 XP in Crafting, 5,000 XP in smithing.

Start Point : House in Seers' Village.

Walk-Through:

1) In Seers Village, go to a small house south-west of the bank and it should be opposite the anvils.

2) When you’re in there, go to the wall on the eastern side of the room and search the book case there.

3) Start reading the Battered Book and when you’ve finished reading it, use a knife on it. You should then get a key. (To make this process quicker, you can just flick through the pages then use the knife with the book.) Make sure that you keep your Battered Book because you will need it later on during this quest.

4) Go to the building opposite the house which should have anvils there. Keep going forward until you see and Odd Looking Wall with a hole in it. Use your key with this wall. Once you’ve gone to the other side of the wall, start walking down the stairs.

5) No that you’re inside, go to the west tunnel and start trying to mine a rock. You should start being attacked by a level 35 Earth Elemental. You will still need to get the ore in the rock. Attack the level 35 Earth Elemental and it should drop Elemental Ore.

6) From where you came in, start taking the north passage and you should see a big water wheel. In this area, there should be some valves. To make the water wheel move, first you’ll need to move the right water valve and then the left water valve. Then pull the lever.

7) You’ll now need to fix the bellows. Go into the east passage now. Now start fixing the bellows using your leather, needle and threads.

8) Now start searching all of the crates until you find a stone bowl. It maybe in any area of the place as it is different for each player. (You will only need to search each crate once). When you’ve found it, go down to the south passage.

9) You will need to get a stone bowl with lava in it. Use you’re stone bowl with the lava in the room. Once you’ve got it, use your stone bowl with lava in it with the furnace.

10) Pull the switch in the room with the bellows.

11) Head back to the furnace and smelt your Elemental ore with your 4 Coal ore.

12) When you’ve done that, go to the centre room and then use your Elemental bar with a work bench. This wont work if you don’t have you’re Battered book in you’re inventory.

13) When you’ve made your Elemental shield, you will have completed this quest.
