Mrice E300

?9mm Dynamic Driver

$10~$15
2.5/5.0

Mrice's popular E300 have made quite a hype. I picked them up for testing, and wasn't particularly impressed. They have muddy mid-bass, almost no sub-bass and extremely dark and off-tone mids and highs. There are better alternatives in their price point.

Also known as: BALDOOR E300

Pros

  • Decent sounding bass with a dark signature.
  • Robust build quality and effective design.
  • Triangular cable design, very soft and tangle-free.

Cons

  • The mids and highs are dark, unclear and lack any detail.
  • Even though they are bass-oriented, the sub-bass is weak and gets distorted easily.

Lows / Bass

The bass is pretty moody and there is very little depth/sub-bass to it. It's all muddy mid-bass basically. The bass shaker test resulted in a lot of nasty distortions.

Mids / Vocals

The vocals are very dark, off-tone and lack any detail, partially because the highs are so bad. Sibilance is very noticeable.

Highs / Treble

The highs are not crisp at all and lack detail. Very dark and harsh. No brilliance but a lot of sibilance.
